Unfortunate as it may be, not every interview offer you receive will be a legitimate offer. Why, you ask? There are a number of possible reasons, but essentially recruiters will do this so that they can turn to the hiring company and show that they have interviewed multiple candidates, even though that recruiter already had the ideal candidate picked out. Save yourself from having your time wasted and make sure the offer is real!
